Bangladesh Lynching Sparks International Concern

Bangladesh Lynching Sparks International Concern

In Bangladesh, a man named Dipu Das was killed by an angry crowd.

The police have arrested a man named Yasin Arafat, who they say encouraged the crowd to attack Dipu.

Dipu was a worker at a clothing factory, and some people say he was killed because of a disagreement at work, while others say it was because of something he said that upset people.

Since this happened, there have been more attacks on people from the Hindu community in Bangladesh.

The former prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, says that the new government is not doing enough to stop these attacks.

The UK and India have also expressed concern and called for action to protect minorities in Bangladesh.
