Sampratti Dance Festival Showcases Diversity in Motion

The Sampratti Dance Festival in Calcutta featured a variety of Indian classical dance forms, including Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, and more.

One of the main performances, 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,' was choreographed by Priti Patel and brought together different dance styles to show how they can come together while keeping their unique identities.

The performance was visually stunning and well-organized, with special lighting and a script that added to the overall message of unity in diversity.

Another performance, 'Pravaha The Journey,' by Sandip Mallick, included different pieces from the Kathak repertoire, celebrating nationalism and exploring themes of freedom and nature.

The festival highlighted the beauty and depth of Indian classical dance, with each performance offering a unique perspective and message.
