Andhra Pradesh CM Urges Faster Google Data Centre Land Acquisition
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, is working to get land for a Google Data Centre in Visakhapatnam.
He's not happy because some people are causing problems by filing lawsuits against the land acquisition, even against farmers who have passed away.
The local MLA and district officials informed the CM about the issues.
The CM has asked that those creating these obstacles be held accountable.
He also wants the land acquisition to be done quickly.
The CM is also considering providing land for houses, shopping areas and job opportunities for the farmers who are giving up their land for the project.
Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction over the filing of cases related to Google Data Centre land acquisition.
The CM directed officials to take action against those filing cases without farmer knowledge.
MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao updated the CM about issues and farmer requests for compensation.
Farmers are requesting more compensation based on the present market value.
The CM will consider allocating land for houses, shopping, and job opportunities for the farmers.
