India Defence Chief Vows Swift Response To Pakistan Threat

India’s top defence official said the country is staying ready for possible threats from Pakistan.

He said being prepared is the best way to discourage an attack or other dangerous action.

He promised that India could respond quickly and firmly if needed.

He said Operation Sindoor achieved its goals and ended when those goals were met.

He did not guess what Saudi Arabia or Turkey might do in a future conflict.

Instead, he said India must plan for situations it can control.

He also said the border with China is stable and that communication between the two militaries remains open.

He credited cooperation among government agencies for the stable security situation in Kashmir Valley.
