Visakhapatnam Launches Comprehensive Neuro Lab With Advanced Diagnostics

A new medical laboratory has opened at KIMS Icon Hospital in Visakhapatnam.

It helps doctors check how the brain, nerves and related systems are working.

Before this, some patients had to travel to Hyderabad or Bengaluru for specialised tests.

The new lab puts many of these tests in one place.

It will be available at all times, including during emergencies.

Doctors say this can help them find neurological problems sooner.

Faster testing may allow treatment to begin without unnecessary delays.

The lab can perform several tests, including nerve studies, brain recordings and blood-flow checks.
