Indian Hockey Teams Gear Up for 2026

The Indian hockey teams have a very busy year ahead in 2026.

They will start with the Hockey India League in January, with matches in different cities.

The men's team will then play in the FIH Pro League in India, Australia, and Europe.

The women's team will try to qualify for the World Cup in March.

In August, both teams will compete in the Hockey World Cup in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The year will end with the Asian Games in Japan, where the men's team will try to win again and qualify for the 2028 Olympics.

Hockey India will also focus on helping young players develop.
