Kamothe Colony Forum to Contest All 11 PMC Seats
People in Kamothe are forming their own group to run for city council positions.
They are upset because problems like not enough water, bad roads, and missing facilities like a fire station haven't been fixed for a long time.
This group believes they have smart and caring people who know the problems well.
They want to promise to fix these issues, make taxes fairer, and build better roads.
They also want to make sure schools don't charge too much.
The group held a big rally to show they are serious about winning and want to bring honest leaders to the city government.
Kamothe Colony Forum announced they will contest all 11 seats in the Panvel Municipal Corporation elections.
The decision is driven by long-standing civic issues including water scarcity, poor roads, and inadequate infrastructure.
The Forum vows to provide transparent, accountable, and citizen-centric governance.
Key agenda points include reducing property tax, improving roads and water supply, and establishing a fire station and health center.
Citizens expressed a desire to reject money-driven politics and support honest, educated candidates.
