Kerala Court Acquits 20 in 2012 ABVP Activist Murder
A court in Kerala has decided that none of the 20 people accused in the murder of an ABVP activist named Vishal Kumar are guilty.
This happened 13 years ago in Chengannur.
Vishal was stabbed during a program at a college.
The court said this because some witnesses did not support the story and there were many problems with the evidence.
The people who were accused were part of a group called Campus Front of India.
The family of Vishal is sad and the group ABVP will ask a higher court to look at the decision again.
The court said that the police and the people who were supposed to prove the case did not do a good job, so the accused were set free.
Kerala court acquits all 20 accused in the 2012 murder of ABVP activist Vishal Kumar.
Vishal was allegedly stabbed to death by Campus Front of India (CFI) activists during a college event.
The trial faced challenges as some witnesses turned hostile and key evidence was found unreliable.
ABVP plans to challenge the verdict in the High Court, calling it disappointing.
