Pakistani Hindu Activist Faces Death Threats
Shiva Kachhi is a brave activist in Pakistan who helps Hindu girls who are taken away and forced to change their religion.
Some bad people are threatening to hurt him because he speaks up against this.
He has been doing this for many years and has helped many girls return to their families.
Now, a powerful group called Pir Sarhindi is saying bad things about him and wants to harm him, just like they did to another person named Dr. Shahnawaz Kumbhar.
Shiva is scared but he is also asking the police for help.
Shiva Kachhi, a Pakistani Hindu activist, faces death threats for opposing forced conversion of minor Hindu girls.
The Pir Sarhindi group accuses him of being anti-Islam and anti-state.
Kachhi has been working since 2018 to reunite abducted girls with their families.
He recently helped register a case against Pir Ajaz Sarhindi for conducting the forced conversion of an underage girl named Sonia.
Kachhi fears for his safety as the Pir Sarhindi group is more influential and dangerous than previous groups he has confronted.
