Mahindra Tractor Sales Surge 10% in May 2025 Amid Positive Outlook
Mahindra, a big tractor maker, had a good month in May 2025.
They sold 10% more tractors overall.
This was because more farmers needed tractors, helped by things like good weather predictions and government support.
Even though exports were a bit down, sales within India were strong.
Over the first two months of the fiscal year, sales are also up, showing that things are looking good for Mahindra's tractor business.
Mahindra & Mahindra's total tractor sales increased by 10% in May 2025, reaching 40,643 units.
Domestic tractor sales grew by 10% to 38,914 units, driven by favorable agricultural conditions.
Export sales declined by 8% in May, totaling 1,729 units.
Positive market indicators like monsoon predictions and MSP hikes are expected to sustain demand.
Year-to-date (April-May) total tractor sales rose by 9%, reaching 80,697 units.
