Owaisi Seeks State Action Over Leather Consignment Seizures

Asaduddin Owaisi asked the state government to help traders whose leather shipments are being held in Odisha.

He said the shipments had the required tax papers and travel permits.

Owaisi accused some local officials and vigilante groups of stopping the trucks.

These are allegations made by Owaisi.

He said the delays are causing losses for traders.

He also said raw leather stock is piling up in Hyderabad.

If the goods cannot be moved soon, he warned they may spoil.

He said hundreds of small businesses and workers could suffer financially.
