Norway Expands Arctic Brigade Amid Rising NATO Defence Spending
Norway is making one of its Arctic military brigades stronger.
The brigade is near Norway’s border with Russia.
It will get bigger weapons, air defence and better communication equipment.
These additions could let it fire at targets far away.
It could also work more closely with Norwegian and NATO aircraft and ships.

Norway is estimated to spend 3.17% of its GDP on defence this year, up from 1.5% in 2014.
