Thackeray Slams Government Over Metro Slab Collapse Near School Van

In Mumbai, a big piece of a metro train track that was being built fell down near a hospital.

A van carrying school children was passing right underneath and almost got hit, but luckily nobody was hurt.

A leader named Aaditya Thackeray was very upset about this.

He asked the government if people's lives have become worthless.

He said a similar accident happened before in another part of Mumbai and someone died.

He wants the company that builds the metro to be punished and wants all metro building sites to be checked for safety.

The agency that looks after the metro project fined the company 12.5 crore rupees.

The leader says the work is bad and done too quickly just to make money.

The good news is that no students or other people were injured in the accident.
