Brigade Group and Artisera launch THRESHOLD artist development programme
Brigade Group and Artisera are starting a programme called THRESHOLD for Indian visual artists.
It is meant for artists who have already spent several years developing their work.
Six artists will be chosen for the first group.
Each artist will receive a grant of ₹1 lakh to make new work.
They will also get advice, workshops, professional help and chances to meet people in the art world.
The programme will last for about six months.
Their new artwork will be shown in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.
Applications for the first edition close on September 20, 2026.
Brigade Group has partnered with Artisera as title partner for THRESHOLD, a national programme supporting Indian visual artists.
The inaugural cohort will include six artists selected through a jury-led process from across India.
Each selected artist will receive a ₹1 lakh grant, alongside mentorship, workshops, professional documentation and networking opportunities.
The six-month programme will run from November 10, 2026, to February 28, 2027, online and offline.
New works will be exhibited in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad in March and April 2027, with applications closing September 20, 2026.
