Supreme Court Grants Anticipatory Bail to Hindutva Influencer in Rahul Gandhi Misquote Case
A man who is famous on social media for supporting Hindu beliefs posted something he said that a politician, Rahul Gandhi, said about Hindu people.
The post claimed Gandhi called Hindus violent.
Someone from a political party complained, and the man was charged with several crimes.
He asked a higher court for permission to not be arrested while the case continues, which is called anticipatory bail.
The top court said that since the police already finished their initial investigation, they don't need to arrest him anymore.
So, they gave him this special bail, but he has to keep cooperating with the police and not bother anyone involved in the case.
