FDA suspends licences of Mumbai bakeries including Bristol Bakery

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Maharashtra inspected 34 bakeries in Greater Mumbai.

One of them, the famous Bristol Bakery in Mahim, had its licence suspended.

The FDA found the bakery's production floor dirty with food residue.

Bristol Bakery is known for its bread and supplies to many places like hotels, hospitals, and railways.

The owner, Aspi Irani, also owns another famous bakery called Jimmy Boy.

The FDA's action is to make sure food is safe and clean.
