Delhi High Court Weighs Sukesh Chandrasekhar's Plea Over Remarks

Sukesh Chandrasekhar asked a court to remove words about his character from an earlier judgment.

He said those words were derogatory, meaning unfairly insulting.

The earlier trial court had convicted him for pretending to be a Supreme Court judge.

Police said he did this to try to influence a judge about bail.

The case involved a corruption matter from 2017.

Delhi Police argued that his current request was not the correct legal procedure.

Police said he should challenge the conviction and the remarks through an appeal.

The Delhi High Court considered the police’s objection to his plea.
