Pakistan Extends Airspace Ban on Indian Aircraft Until October 24

Pakistan has decided to keep Indian aircraft out of its airspace for another month.

The restriction now lasts until October 24, 2026.

It began at 10:45 am on Wednesday.

The rule applies to planes registered in India.

It also covers planes connected to Indian airlines and operators.

Military flights are included too.

The restriction covers two parts of Pakistan’s airspace, called the Karachi and Lahore flight information regions.

Pakistan and India introduced similar restrictions after the Pahalgam terrorist attack in April 2025.
