Maharashtra Approves ₹86.65 Crore Relief For Kharif Losses

The Maharashtra government will give ₹86.65 crore to farmers whose Kharif 2025 crops were damaged.

The affected farmers are in Nashik, Ahilyanagar and Jalgaon districts.

Their crops were harmed by heavy rain, unusually high rainfall and strong winds.

The government approved the package as special help.

The decision was made after a meeting on July 2, 2026.

Eligible farmers will receive the money directly in their bank accounts.

Officials will check the records before sending the payments.

They will also make sure farmers do not receive help twice.

The government says payments should be made quickly and fairly.
