Gorakhpur Link Expressway Set for Friday Inauguration
A new highway called the Gorakhpur Link Expressway is opening soon!
It's a long road that connects different cities, making travel faster and easier.
The Chief Minister will open it on Friday with special events.
The expressway will make it much quicker to get to nearby places like Lucknow, and also makes it easier to travel to Delhi and Agra.
The expressway cost over 7000 crore to build and will help people in four districts travel more conveniently.
The Gorakhpur Link Expressway will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday.
The 91.35-km expressway connects Gorakhpur to Azamgarh, linking to the Purvanchal Expressway.
Inauguration ceremonies will be held at both Azamgarh and Gorakhpur ends.
The expressway spans four districts and cost Rs 7,283.28 crore including land acquisition.
The expressway will reduce travel time between Gorakhpur and Lucknow and also offers improved connectivity to Delhi and Agra.
