India Launches Pilot Apprenticeship Program in Northeast
The Indian government, along with Mizoram, has started a new program to help young people in the northeastern region learn job skills.
This program will provide about 26,000 young people with extra money each month for a year to help them learn new skills.
The goal is to make it easier for young people to get training and find jobs by letting them learn on the job.
The government hopes this will boost the region's economy.
The program will focus on matching skills with the needs of today's industries.
