Iran Protests Escalate Over Economic Crisis
In Iran, people are protesting because the economy is very bad.
Prices are going up, and the money is losing value.
These protests started with shopkeepers and have spread to many cities.
Some people have been killed and hurt in these protests.
The government says they will talk to the protesters, but they are also using force to stop them.
The protests are the biggest in three years, but not as big as the ones that happened after a young woman died in police custody.
The government is trying to fix the economy, but it's very hard because of sanctions and other problems.
Some people are even calling for a change in the government.
Protests in Iran have escalated due to economic pressures, inflation, and currency fluctuations, leading to deaths and injuries.
A 21-year-old Basij volunteer was killed, and 13 Basij members and police officers were injured during protests in Kouhdasht.
At least seven people have been killed in clashes between protesters and security forces in Lordegan and other cities.
Protests have spread across 17 out of 31 provinces, with major cities including Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, and Kermanshah witnessing street protests.
The Iranian government has offered to engage in negotiations with protesters but has also threatened a 'decisive response' to any security threats.

Quotes
Reza Pahlavi
Former Crown Prince of Iran
“President Trump, thank you for your strong leadership and support of my compatriots. This warning you have issued to the criminal leaders of the Islamic Republic gives my people greater strength and hope--hope that, at last, a President of the United States is standing firmly by their side. As they risk their lives to end this regime's 46-year reign of chaos and terror, they send me with a responsibility and a message: to seek the relationship Iran once had with America that brought peace and prosperity to the Middle East.”

“I have the plan for stable transition for Iran and the support of my people to get it done. With your leadership of the free world, we can leave a legacy of lasting peace.”

Ali Shamkhani
Political Advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and representative of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on the Defence Council
“The people of Iran are well familiar with the experience of 'rescuing' Americans, from Iraq and Afghanistan to Gaza. Every hand of intervention that approaches Iranian Security with excuses will be cut off with a regrettable Response before it arrives. Iran's national security is a red line, not the subject of adventurous tweets.”

“Any interventionist hand that gets too close to the security of Iran will be cut. The people of Iran properly know the experience of 'being rescued' by Americans: from Iraq and Afghanistan to Gaza.”

Donald Trump
US President
“If Iran shots and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue. We are locked and loaded and ready to go. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Ali Larijani
Former parliament speaker and current secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council
“Trump should know that intervention by the US in the domestic problem corresponds to chaos in the entire region and the destruction of the US interests. The people of the US should know that Trump began the adventurism. They should take care of their own soldiers.”
