Kerala Governor Stresses Active Public Participation in Nation Building
Imagine building a big Lego castle.
The government can bring the Lego bricks and design the castle, but everyone needs to help put the pieces together to make it strong and amazing!
That’s what the Governor of Kerala said on Kerala’s birthday.
He explained that people can't just watch while the country grows; they have to jump in and help build it.
He reminded everyone that people from Kerala are already good at many things and lead in different areas.
He also talked about how important it is for everyone to be involved, just like people helped unite India a long time ago.
The Governor believes that for India to become a developed country, Kerala must also become a developed state, and that happens when all its people actively participate.
Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar highlighted the necessity of active public involvement in nation-building.
The Governor stated that citizens should not be passive observers but active participants in the country's development.
He drew a parallel to V.P. Menon's role in integrating princely states, emphasizing the contribution of Keralites.
Governor Arlekar asserted that 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) can only be achieved through 'Viksit Kerala' (Developed Kerala).
He praised the people of Kerala for their leadership and contribution in various fields.
