Doctor-Led Terror Plot Foiled by Apple Harvest
A doctor named Dr. Umar-un Nabi was planning a big terrorist attack in India.
He tried to convince a young man, Yasir Ahmed Dar, to become a suicide bomber.
But Yasir changed his mind because he needed to help his family during the apple harvest.
The police found out about this plan and stopped them.
They also found out that Nabi was trying to build a secret group to keep doing bad things even if others got caught.
The police found chemicals and other things that Nabi was using to make bombs.
All of this started after Nabi and another doctor went to Turkiye and met some bad people there.
The police are still investigating and have caught some of the people involved.
Dr. Umar-un Nabi, a doctor from Pulwama, was the mastermind behind a terror module that planned a car bombing at the Red Fort, killing over 12 people.
Nabi attempted to recruit Yasir Ahmed Dar as a potential suicide bomber but Dar backed out due to family responsibilities during the apple harvest.
Nabi's professional status as a doctor made his extremist rhetoric more persuasive to recruits.
The terror module was planning a powerful Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) blast timed around the Babri Masjid demolition anniversary.
The police uncovered the inter-state terror network after arresting several members, including Nabi's associate Dr. Muzammil Ahmad Ganaie, and seizing explosives.
