Powerball Jackpot Reaches $1.7 Billion After No Winner
Imagine a game where you pick numbers, and if they match, you win lots of money!
This is Powerball.
The jackpot, the total prize money, is now $1.7 billion!
That's a huge amount!
The numbers drawn were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and Powerball 22.
Since no one picked all the right numbers, the prize gets even bigger for the next time.
If someone wins, they can get the money in yearly payments or a lump sum.
The odds of winning are very small, about 1 in 292.2 million, so it's very unlikely to win, but people still play because of the enormous prize.
The Powerball jackpot has reached $1.7 billion.
The winning numbers were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and Powerball 22.
The next drawing will be held on Saturday night.
