Khadse Calls for Stronger Mizoram Sports Infrastructure and Support
Raksha Khadse visited Mizoram to see how sports can improve there.
She met athletes, coaches and sports officials in Aizawl.
They talked about training, competitions and athletes’ goals.
Khadse said athletes need better fields, coaching, nutrition and medical support.
She also said athletes should get more chances to compete.
A Khelo India project will add a synthetic hockey field and lights at a sports centre in Aizawl.
Khadse said Mizoram has strong talent in football and hockey.
She also visited Saitual and planned to visit Kolasib the next day.
Union Minister Raksha Khadse reviewed Mizoram’s sports ecosystem during a two-day visit.
Khadse urged stronger infrastructure, coaching, sports science, rehabilitation, nutrition and competition exposure.
She discussed sports development and Centre-state coordination with Mizoram Sports Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar.
