Road Safety Campaigns Promote Helmet Use

In Vijayawada and Nellore, special events were held to teach people about wearing helmets when riding bikes.

In Vijayawada, a bike rally was organized by the district head, Dr. Lakshmisha, to show how important helmets are for safety.

He mentioned that more women are now riding bikes for work, so it's crucial they wear helmets.

The police are also making sure people follow the rules and are giving fines to those who don't wear helmets.

In Nellore, the police led a walkathon to talk about how two-wheeler riders are most at risk in accidents.

They said not wearing helmets, speeding, and drunk driving are big problems.

The police are working with other departments to make roads safer and are asking everyone to help by driving carefully and checking their vehicles before traveling.
