Punjab Expands School of Eminence Network with Two New Campuses
Punjab’s chief minister opened two new schools in Ludhiana to give kids better classrooms, labs, and even a library.
The schools cost a lot of money but help make government schools as good as private ones.
Now the city has many special schools called Schools of Eminence, Brilliance, and Happiness.
The state says its schools are now the best in the country for young students.
More kids are doing well in big exams like NEET and JEE because of these new schools.
Punjab Chief Minister inaugurated two new Schools of Eminence in Ludhiana's Kidwai Nagar and Miller Ganj.
The new campuses cost ₹10.62 crore and ₹3.48 crore, featuring classrooms, labs, libraries, auditoriums, and elevators.
Ludhiana now hosts 16 Schools of Eminence, 11 Schools of Brilliance, and 35 Schools of Happiness.
Punjab claims its education reforms have moved the state from 27th to 1st rank in primary and middle‑school education.
Enrollment in government schools rose, with 881 NEET qualifiers and 125 JEE Main qualifiers from 2021 to 2026.
