Actress Files Cheating Case Against Film Producer
An actress named Digangana Suryavanshi worked in a Telugu film called Wild, which was later renamed Villain 007.
The producer, Suresh Patil, promised to pay her ₹19 lakh for her role.
She received ₹5 lakh initially, but the remaining ₹2.5 lakh was supposed to be paid via a cheque.
When she tried to cash the cheque, it bounced because the signature didn't match.
She tried to contact the producer but couldn't reach him, so she went to the police.
The police have now filed a case against the producer for cheating.
Actress Digangana Suryavanshi alleges cheating by film producer Suresh Patil over a bounced cheque for ₹2.5 lakh.
The cheque was issued for pending acting fees for the Telugu film Wild, later renamed Villain 007.
Suryavanshi received ₹5 lakh initially, with the remaining ₹2.5 lakh to be paid via the bounced cheque.
