Paytm Launches Personalised UPI IDs To Boost Privacy

Paytm now lets users create their own unique UPI IDs, like a username for payments, to keep their phone numbers private.

To set it up, users need to go to UPI Settings in their Paytm app.

This feature lets you hide your mobile number when sending and receiving money.

The feature is currently available for Yes Bank and Axis Bank users, with plans to expand to other banking partners.

Users can set a custom UPI ID such as name@ptyes or name@ptaxis.
