Bihar Assembly Elections: Key Leaders and Constituencies in Phase 1
On Thursday, people in Bihar will start voting for their new government in a big election.
This is the first round of voting.
Many important politicians are running, including Tejashwi Yadav, who wants to become the Chief Minister, and two Deputy Chief Ministers, Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha.
Tejashwi Yadav is trying to win his area, Raghopur, for the third time.
His older brother, Tej Pratap Yadav, is also running in a different area.
Another candidate getting a lot of attention is Osama Shahab, whose father was a very powerful politician with a criminal past.
Some other politicians are saying that by letting Osama Shahab run, Tejashwi's party is bringing back a time of lawlessness.
The election will happen in many different places, with some areas having many candidates and others having fewer.
A lot of voting will happen in villages.
Many ministers from different parties are also trying to win their seats again.
