LPU Students Challenge Scripted Video Amid Rape-Suicide Protest Row
Three students at Lovely Professional University appeared in a video made by the university.
The video was meant to challenge claims about a serious incident involving another student.
The three students now say they were told what to say.
They also say the video was edited and shared without their permission.
These claims have not been independently verified.
The university denies the rape-suicide allegations at the center of the protests.
Police are investigating by examining the hostel, cameras and digital evidence.
Protests became violent, and classes and exams were suspended.
The truth about the videos and the alleged incident is still being investigated.
