Supreme Court Gives Rajpal Yadav Conditional Relief in Cheque-Bounce Cases

Supreme Court Gives Rajpal Yadav Conditional Relief in Cheque-Bounce Cases

Rajpal Yadav is an actor who has been involved in a long-running money dispute.

The dispute began when he received Rs 5 crore to help make a film.

He and others later agreed to repay about Rs 11 crore, including interest.

Cheques meant to help repay the money were dishonoured.

Yadav told the Supreme Court he had lost a lot of money over the years.

He paid Rs 1.15 crore in demand drafts and said a buyer would provide another Rs 85 lakh for his ancestral property.

The court gave him conditional relief but said it was not satisfied with his conduct.

Yadav also suggested he might make a film about what happened.
