4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Dalbandin in Balochistan, No Casualties

On Saturday, a big shake called an earthquake happened near a town called Dalbandin in Pakistan.

An earthquake is when the ground moves and shakes.

This earthquake had a magnitude of 4.0, which is how scientists measure how strong it is.

It was not very strong, and nobody got hurt.

The shaking started about 35 kilometres deep underground.

The centre of the earthquake was about 100 kilometres away from the town.

People who run the town said there was no damage to homes or other property.

Pakistan has earthquakes a lot because it sits where two giant pieces of the Earth's crust bump into each other.

Earlier this year, a few other small earthquakes happened in nearby areas.

So, people in Pakistan are used to small shakes like this one.
