Drugs Worth Rs 55 Crore Seized in Maharashtra

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) found and shut down a secret drug-making place in Maharashtra's Satara district.

They called it 'Operation Sahyadri Checkmate.'

The place was hidden inside a chicken farm and was making a dangerous drug called mephedrone.

The DRI seized a lot of drugs and materials worth Rs 55 crore.

They also arrested five people involved in making and selling the drugs.

This is the second time in two months that a drug-making place has been found in Satara.

The drug is very harmful and can cause serious health problems.

The DRI is working hard to stop people from making and selling these dangerous drugs.
