IIT Kanpur Wins NTPC Electron Quiz 2025
The NTPC Electron Quiz 2025 National Finale was held on December 19, 2025, at NTPC’s Power Management Institute in Noida.
Teams from top engineering and management schools like IIT Kanpur, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Calcutta competed.
IIT Kanpur won the quiz, earning Rs 1 Lakh.
IIM Lucknow and IIM Calcutta were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
The quiz started with regional rounds in different cities from November 22 to December 17, 2025, followed by semi-finals on December 18, 2025.
NTPC, India’s largest power utility, organizes this quiz to encourage learning and connect with students.
The company aims to have 60 GW of renewable energy by 2032.
