Nepal's Leaders Address Stability Concerns
Former King Gyanendra Shah of Nepal gave a speech saying he's worried about his country.
He said this because there have been big protests and the government has changed.
Many people died in these protests.
The former king said that leaders aren't listening to young people, which is making things worse.
He wants everyone to work together to make Nepal better.
Some people in Nepal want the king to come back, but others say that's not possible.
The former king was removed in 2008, and since then, the country has had many problems.
The current interim Prime Minister, Sushila Karki, also spoke about the problems.
She said the government is facing a lot of pressure and that they won't let Nepal become like Bangladesh, which is also having problems.
She asked people to give the government more time to do its job.
Former King Gyanendra Shah expressed concern over Nepal's stability in a video address.
Protests in September 2023 led to the ousting of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and 76 deaths.
Shah criticized leaders for not addressing the needs of young people, causing dissatisfaction.
Public support for restoring the monarchy has grown due to political instability and corruption.
Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki stated that her administration will not let Nepal fall into political chaos like Bangladesh.
