October IIP Release Rescheduled
The Indian government has decided to change the release date for the October 2025 industrial production data.
Normally, this data comes out on the 28th of every month, but this time it will be released on December 1st at 4:00 PM.
The reason for the change is to match the release of another important economic report, the GDP estimates for the period from July to September 2025-26.
The government announced this change on a Friday, explaining that the new date is to ensure both reports are published together.
The IIP growth rate for September 2025 was 4% year-on-year, with the quick estimates standing at 152.8 compared to 146.9 in September 2024.
The Indian government has rescheduled the release of October 2025 IIP data to December 1, 2025.
The original release date was November 28, 2025.
The change is to align with the release of July–September 2025–26 GDP estimates.
The new release time is 4:00 PM on December 1, 2025.
