BJP cautions against rift after Sunetra Pawar meets Prashant Kishor
Two big groups of leaders in Maharashtra work together as a team called Mahayuti.
They have to be careful to stay friends.
A leader from one of the groups, Sunetra Pawar, had a meeting with a person named Prashant Kishor.
Mr. Kishor is famous for helping people win elections.
Recently, he helped someone win an election in Bihar, and that winner beat a candidate from the BJP team.
Some BJP leaders felt a little worried about the meeting.
A BJP minister named Chandrashekhar Bawankule said: please do nothing that might break our team apart.
He said the meeting is their own party's business, but everyone should follow the team rules.
This was the second time Sunetra Pawar met Mr. Kishor after her husband passed away in a plane crash.
Her son said Mr. Kishor is known to their family.
Sunetra Pawar, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader, met election strategist Prashant Kishor at her official residence 'Devgiri' in south Mumbai.
BJP minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule advised her not to take any step that might cause a rift in the Mahayuti alliance.
Bawankule called the meeting an internal NCP matter but said conduct must not sow suspicion among alliance partners or harm any party.
Prashant Kishor recently won a bypoll in Bihar, defeating a BJP candidate.
This was the second meeting between Kishor and Pawar since the death of her husband, former deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, in a plane crash in Baramati in January this year.
