Gujarat Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi Launches Vadnagar Shravanotsav Damru Yatra

A big religious festival called Shravanotsav started in the old town of Vadnagar, India.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Harsh Sanghavi, came to open the festival.

The festival began with a special parade called a Damru Yatra.

A damru is a small drum that people play during prayers.

108 skilled drum players walked through the town, all playing their drums at the same time.

The parade started at Sharmishtha Lake and ended at Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple.

Along the way, it passed by many old and historic places in the town.

Lots of local people and devotees joined the walk together.

The leader also opened a new service of special auto-rickshaws to help visitors explore the town.

He prayed at the temple and gave out sweets and prayer kits to the people.
