Bangladesh Dengue Deaths Rise, New Hospital Guidelines Issued
Imagine tiny bugs called mosquitoes spreading a sickness called dengue.
Sadly, more people in Bangladesh are getting sick and some are even passing away.
This year, the number of deaths has reached 192.
To help, hospitals are making special areas just for dengue patients.
They'll have special doctors, nurses, and all the important things patients need.
Hospitals will also clean up the areas around them to get rid of the mosquitoes.
The goal is to stop the spread of the sickness and take better care of the people who are sick.
Bangladesh reports a rising death toll from dengue, reaching 192 in 2025.
Over 46,000 dengue cases have been reported in 2025.
The DGHS has issued new guidelines for hospitals to improve dengue patient care.
