Indian Army Declares 2026 as Year of Networking

The Indian Army has announced that 2026 will be the 'Year of Networking & Data Centricity'.

This means they will focus on improving how their systems connect and share information in real-time.

This will help them make quicker decisions and be more effective in combat.

The Army Chief, Gen Upendra Dwivedi, said this is part of a bigger plan to make the Army stronger and more ready for the future.

They are also continuing an operation called Sindoor to protect the country.

The Army is working on using more Indian-made technologies and improving their digital systems.

Last year, they focused on absorbing new technologies, and now they are moving towards better networking and data use.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the DRDO for their role in Operation Sindoor, highlighting the importance of indigenous technologies and the need for continuous innovation and learning.
