Gold, Silver Ornaments and Cash Stolen in Pimple Saudagar Flat
Some thieves broke into a family's flat in Pimple Saudagar, a neighbourhood near the city of Pune in India.
The family was far away, visiting relatives in another country, so nobody was home.
The thieves took gold and silver jewellery and some cash.
Before going in, they sprayed paint on the CCTV security cameras so the cameras could not record them clearly.
When the family came back, they found their home turned upside down and reported it to the police.
The policemen are called the Sangvi Police, and they have registered a case to find the thieves.
They are checking videos from cameras in the area to figure out who did it.
Police think the thieves may have known the family was away, perhaps because someone told them, but that is just one idea they are checking.
Neighbours are worried because their area is usually considered safe and quiet.
Unidentified thieves broke into a locked flat in Pimple Saudagar while the occupants were abroad visiting relatives.
Gold and silver ornaments along with cash were stolen from Flat No. 207 at Jhulelal Towers in Jhulelal Colony.
The burglars allegedly sprayed paint on the CCTV cameras installed on the floor before breaking into the flat.
The theft came to light after the residents returned and found the house ransacked.
