KTR Demands Apology from Rahul Gandhi Over Reddy's Comment
K.T. Rama Rao, a leader in the BRS party, wrote a letter to Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress party.
He asked Rahul to apologize for comments made by Telangana’s Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, who called engineering students ‘criminal waste’.
Rama Rao said the words hurt many students, teachers, and parents.
He also said the Chief Minister’s words were not just a mistake but part of a pattern of disrespecting young people.
Rama Rao wants Rahul to make a public apology and to tell the Chief Minister to withdraw his statement.
He warned that young voters would judge the Congress party by how it handles this issue.
K.T. Rama Rao wrote a four‑page letter to Rahul Gandhi demanding an apology for the Chief Minister’s remarks.
The remarks described engineering students as ‘criminal waste’ and were seen as an insult to students, teachers, and parents.
Rama Rao held Rahul Gandhi politically and morally responsible for the comments.
He urged Rahul to order the Chief Minister to withdraw the statement and issue an unconditional apology.
Rama Rao warned that the judgment of an awakened generation would outweigh temporary political power.
