India's GDP Growth Projected at 7.4% for FY25-26
India's economy is expected to grow by 7.4% in the financial year 2025-26.
This growth is driven by strong performance in services, manufacturing, and increased household spending.
The government is also spending more, which helps the economy.
However, there are some challenges like a weak currency and slower global trade.
Experts think the economy will keep growing, but maybe a bit slower next year.
The way they measure the economy is also changing, but that shouldn't make a big difference in the numbers.
India's GDP is projected to grow by 7.4% in FY25-26, up from 6.5% in FY24-25.
Strong growth in services (9.1%), manufacturing (7%), and household spending (7%) is driving the economy.
Fixed asset investments are expected to grow by 7.8%, and government spending by 5.2%.
Challenges include a weak currency, sluggish global trade, and the El Niño pattern from mid-2026.
The new GDP base year (2022-23) will be introduced on 27 February, but experts expect only marginal changes in growth estimates.
