Collector Initiates MSP for Lemon Farmers
The Collector of Nellore district, Himanshu Shukla, has started a plan to help lemon farmers.
Lemon prices have dropped a lot because other states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka are now growing their own lemons.
The Collector found out that there is a big demand for lemons in other districts like Kurnool, Srikakulam, and Visakhapatnam.
So, he decided to send the lemons to these districts instead of selling them locally.
This will help the farmers get a better price for their lemons.
The Collector had a meeting with officials to discuss this plan and ordered them to start sending the lemons to the other districts.
