Special Investigation Opposes Bail in TTD Ghee Adulteration Case
Imagine someone was supposed to provide special, pure butter (ghee) to a very important temple, but they didn't.
Instead, they sent fake ghee made of cheap palm oil mixed with chemicals.
The people in charge of this are now in trouble.
The investigators are worried they might try to scare the witnesses.
Because this involved people's faith and a lot of money, the investigators do not want them to be let out of jail before their trial.
They're also considering setting up a special court to make sure everything is dealt with quickly.
SIT opposes bail for directors of dairies involved in the TTD ghee adulteration case.
The CBI alleges the accused conspired to obtain ghee supply orders through a front company.
The CBI stated that the supplied ghee was actually palm oil mixed with chemicals.
Accused allegedly threatened a co-accused witness, obstructing and relocating them.
The court hearing is postponed to June 16th, with the government considering a special court.
