Huawei Launches Watch D3 With Inflatable Blood Pressure Cuff

Huawei has made a smartwatch that can measure blood pressure.

A small cuff inside the watch strap squeezes the wrist when it takes a reading.

The watch measures two numbers called systolic and diastolic pressure.

It can also take readings at regular times for 24 hours while someone goes about their day.

Huawei says these readings can be put into a report and shared with a doctor.

The watch received European CE-MDR medical certification.

It is designed to look and feel more like a normal smartwatch than a medical device.

It costs £399.99 in the UK and works with iPhones and Android phones.
