Meta Explores Hidden Antennas for Smart Glasses and Night Vision
Meta is studying new ways to place antennas in wearable glasses.
An antenna helps a device send and receive wireless signals.
The company may put the antenna inside the glasses’ frame.
It could also hide the antenna inside a special material that lets radio signals pass through.
This could protect the antenna from people touching it or damaging it.
Meta also mentions night-vision goggles in its patent ideas.
That does not prove the company is making military glasses.
It is also unknown whether any product based on these patents will be released.
Meta is exploring an antenna setup for smart glasses and night-vision goggles through patents.
The antennas could be placed inside the glasses’ frame.
Another option is hiding them within an over-moduled layer made from RF-transparent material.
The design aims to protect the antenna from the wearer and physical damage without disrupting wireless signals.
The patents do not confirm that Meta plans to launch military glasses or any related product.
