Rajasthan Sees 28% Drop in SC/ST Crimes
In Rajasthan, India, there has been a big drop in crimes against people from the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) communities over the last two years.
The police say this is because they are working faster to solve cases and register reports of crimes more quickly.
They also have new laws to help protect these communities.
In 2023, there were 10,273 cases, but by 2025, that number went down to 7,373.
The police are now solving cases much faster too, taking only 75 days on average in 2025 compared to 124 days in 2023.
They are also trying to finish cases within 60 days to make sure people get justice quickly.
Rajasthan saw a 28.23% decline in SC/ST crimes from November 2023 to November 2025.
